This is a Seldom Used Tool that has been aluded to in many places. A very valuable property is that it is available in most plumbing supply stores! And requires no metal working or machining. It is 3/8ths-inch galvanized water pipe, with a cap for each end. The pipe fits through the "knee" of the trailing link landing gear.

It is positioned on the inside of the landing gear leg for use with a "scissors" jack. Be sure the other main gear is "chawked" so it doesn't move!

The caps are placed on the ends for convenient storage. One should label this Seldom Used Tool so one will remember what it is for and it is available for the next time.
